Philip Pank Partnership has been established since 1936. The practice originally focused on Quantity Surveying but now encompasses a wide range of cost consultancy and project management services. Provided to the construction industry as a whole, our concentration is the service provided on commercial office fit out and residential schemes predominantly for public sector clients from the East Midlands down to the South Coast.
Whilst our involvement in housing started with traditional quantity surveying and cost consultancy our business has evolved and grown with time and today the services provided by the Practice include employer’s agent / client representative services, cost consultancy, project management, building surveying, site inspection, principal designer services and building maintenance.
Our current workload covers a wide range of commercial, housing and environmental works schemes including specialising in affordable and private housing (new build and refurbishment), shared ownership, market rent, keyworker, outright sale and student accommodation, and extending through into specialist works for the elderly, the disabled and the disadvantaged and include both integrated and stand-alone environmental/open space improvement schemes.
We have also developed a specialism in delivery under Development Agreements.
We also have a vibrant in-house Building Surveying team are currently advising clients on a wide range of technical issues, including providing Party Wall services but more recently the inspection and validation of a variety of external cladding installations on low to high-rise developments. Following their investigations, our dedicated team prepare detailed illustrated reports to assist in clients’ reporting, risk assessment and potential defect claims. Where required, we can manage subsequent remedial works programmes and have assisted in controlled condition testing of cladding systems by recognised laboratories.
